White Shark on Exhibit

For only the fourth time since 2004, we have a young white shark in the Outer Bay exhibit. She arrived on August 27, and will remain in the million-gallon exhibit as long as she's in good health and hasn't grown too large for us to return safely to the wild.

Become a marine scientist for a day and work alongside Aquarium guides, or enjoy a spectacular sunset sail with wine and cheese. You'll get a unique view of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary aboard the Derek M Baylis, a 65-foot sailboat designed for ocean research.
