How to Apply for Our School Programs

The application for summer self-guided school programs June 11 through August 31, 2012 is now available online. Apply now.

The application for the 2012-2013 school year will be available online on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Popular programs and field trip dates book quickly, so be sure to make your reservations early.

• Provide the Applicant Name and Phone Number

• Select a Lead Teacher for Your School Visit

  Provide us with the name and contact information of the lead teacher. The lead teacher is our primary contact if we have questions about the reservation request. The lead teacher is responsible for the entire group coming from your school and must accompany the group on their school program visit to the Aquarium.

• Select Your Dates

  Specify up to 10 school program dates on the application form. Be sure to refer to your 2011-2012 school calendar to avoid holidays and potential testing dates.

• Specify Arrival and Departure Times

  The application asks you to specify the earliest time your group can arrive at the Aquarium and the latest time you can leave the Aquarium. We'll assign your program and check-in times based on this information. Generally, you'll need to check-in 15 minutes before the program begins.

• Gather School Group/Student Information

  For each class that will be coming to visit, you'll be asked to supply the number of students, grade level, teacher's name and any additional information that would help us provide the best experience possible. If you're a home school family or group, supply the age range of your students (3-12 or 13-18). If you don't know these specifics, enter "mixed."

• Provide Additional Information

  Include any information about your students or classes that would help us serve you better (special needs, learning level, language preference, etc.).

• Complete and Submit the Online School Programs Application Form

  You should now have the information you need to complete our online School Programs Application Form.
