Come dive with us! In this unique program, kids ages 8 to 13 are introduced to surface SCUBA with Aquarium staff in the Great Tide Pool. They'll meet amazing critters while getting a fish-eye view of the wonders of the bay as they float safely on the surface.
Our SCUBA-certified dive staff swims alongside and assists the students, introducing them to the animals that call the Great Tide Pool home. No SCUBA experience is required, but participants must have basic swimming skills. All equipment is provided including a dry suit, regulator,air tank and mask. No bathing suit or towel required.
Space is Limited: We recommend you pre-register for all events.

In Person: You may register at the Aquarium Adventures desk in the main lobby of the Aquarium.
Fees: Registration fees do not include Aquarium admission. You must also purchase tickets to the Aquarium at the time of registration for all Adventures that take place inside the Aquarium.
Adults must purchase tickets to enter the Aquarium and be present during the program. However, adults may not enter the water.
Cancellation: We require at least 72 hours notice in order to offer a refund. A cancellation fee of $5 applies. Reservations and cancellations are processed by phone or in person (not by e-mail).
In the unlikely event that conditions make it unsafe to enter the Great Tide Pool, we may have to cancel programs. Every effort will be made to reschedule participants for a later program. Should this be impossible to arrange, we will refund the program fee.
