Pretend you're walking through the wetlands, where long-legged birds poke and probe for insects, frogs and small fish. Our wading birds gallery includes colorful cattle egrets, brilliant Chilean flamingos, roseate spoonbills, scarlet ibises and white ibises.

Wetlands and mangrove swamps help buffer the shore from storms and provide a rich habitat for these birds and a host of other animals.

Join us for a weekend of programs and activities as we celebrate all things otter. Enjoy the antics of our playful southern sea otters as they romp, tumble and wrestle in our 55,000-gallon exhibit. Includes feeding and training sessions, games and otter spotting on the bay.
